Cryptocurrency analyst Darkfost pointed out on the 21st via X (formerly Twitter) that the "Bull Score Index," calculated by CryptoQuant, has exceeded the bullish threshold of 60. This marks the first time since October 2025 that the index has recovered to the 60 range.
According to Darkfost, during the period in May when Bitcoin (BTC) temporarily recovered to $82,000, the index did not reach the bullish zone. This recent case, which is the first time since then that the threshold has been surpassed, is being noted as a turning point in market sentiment.
The Bull Score Index is calculated by combining 10 types of non-lagging indicators, such as demand growth, stablecoin liquidity, and traders' realized prices. Each indicator adds points when it shows a bullish signal, and when the total exceeds 60, the entire market is deemed to be in a bullish phase.
According to Darkfost, as of the 21st, 6 out of the 10 indicators have turned green (bullish). This includes demand growth, stablecoin liquidity, and traders' realized prices. In past bullish markets, the index has tended to maintain levels above 60 until it turns bearish.
Darkfost expressed the view that if the current levels are maintained and continue to rise, a new bullish cycle may be beginning. On the other hand, the index is a composite indicator based solely on past price movements, and there remains the possibility that it could be a temporary recovery.
It is important to note that the index reflects the psychological and supply-demand state synthesized from multiple indicators and does not independently confirm a market reversal.
