Used Car Market in Ukraine: Sales Fell by 4.3% in August
In August, 71,154 used passenger cars were resold in Ukraine, which is 4.3% less than in July and 6.4% less than in August 2025. The demand for electric vehicles increased by 38.2%, and the share of online agreements in the "Diia" app rose by 1.4% compared to July and by 70.4% compared to last year. Volkswagen remained the sales leader with 8,677 cars, followed by Renault (4,309), BMW (3,887), VAZ/Lada (3,732), and Skoda (3,698). The top model was the Volkswagen Passat with 2,295 cars. The average age of resold vehicles was 15.96 years, with 52.0% being over 16 years old. The highest number of physical registrations was recorded in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk region. A total of 80,254 used vehicles were purchased in the domestic market, including 3,871 trucks and 3,468 motorcycles.
