U.S. Treasury Secretary Clarifies: Trump's $2000 Payment Aimed at Providing Tax Refund to Low-Income Families, Tariff Bonuses Not Yet Decided
BlockBeats News, November 12, U.S. Treasury Secretary Benson: U.S. President Trump discussed providing a $2,000 tax rebate to families earning less than $100,000, with the large-scale rebate expected to arrive in early 2026. There are many options for distributing the tariff dividend, and the issue of the tariff dividend is currently under discussion with no decision made yet.
On November 9, Trump stated: "Anyone who is against tariffs is a fool! We are now the wealthiest and most respected country in the world, with an almost zero inflation rate and the stock market hitting a historic high. 401k retirement account balances have also reached an all-time high. With trillions of dollars in income every year, we will soon be able to start paying off the massive $37 trillion debt. Investment in the U.S. has reached a historic high, with factories and businesses sprouting up like mushrooms after rain. A dividend of at least $2,000 will be paid to everyone (excluding high-income individuals!)."
