Universal Token Rating (UTR) for Over 100 Tokens Released by Forgd and DefiLlama
Forgd and DefiLlama have announced the Universal Token Rating (UTR) that scores information on projects with over 100 tokens. The UTR assigns a score between 0 and 100 and grades from AAA to CCC based on criteria such as liquidity, spread, trading volume, market maker utilization rate, and on-chain token unlock changes. Forgd explained that the final score is calculated by evaluating the disclosure axis and performance axis, each rated from 0 to 10, and then multiplying the results. Shane Mallinder, CEO of Forgd, mentioned that while there was a transparency checklist, there was no continuous evaluation system, emphasizing that scores must be continuously earned. Ryan Selaz, head of research at DefiLlama, stated that the ratings, calculated using real-time market data, provide honest and unbiased information. The UTR is a data tool that does not predict the price direction of specific tokens but shows the consistency of public information and market indicators. This service is an extension linked to Forgd's market maker leaderboard, evaluating tokens over 100, with results filterable by valuation, sector, and exchange listing grade. Ratings may fluctuate based on real-time data and can serve as a reference indicator for investors to assess the level of information disclosure and trading environment.
