The UK financial regulator is in settlement talks with cryptocurrency exchange HTX to resolve allegations that the group illegally promoted cryptocurrency services in the UK. The High Court in London has suspended legal proceedings, giving both parties two months (until late August) to resolve the dispute. The Financial Conduct Authority has been suing HTX since October last year, marking the first case against a cryptocurrency company for marketing to UK consumers.
