Strive Holds 23,156 Bitcoins, Becoming the Fifth Largest Public Company by Holdings
Strive purchased 1,800 Bitcoins at an average price of $79,431 each between August 24 and August 28, with a total transaction amount of approximately $143 million. Its holdings increased from 21,356 to 23,156 Bitcoins, with a total value of around $1.8 billion. This increase in holdings has allowed Strive to surpass the digital asset exchange Bullish, making it the fifth largest public company by Bitcoin holdings, following Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA Holdings. Strive has accumulated nearly 3,000 Bitcoins in 15 days, including the purchase of 1,110 Bitcoins for approximately $81.5 million from August 17 to August 21, and an earlier purchase of 79 Bitcoins for about $5 million. The funds for this purchase mainly came from stock sales, with the number of ASST common shares increasing from about 79.9 million to 83.5 million, expected to raise approximately $154.6 million, of which about $143 million is allocated for Bitcoin purchases. Strive stated that it has settled its outstanding debts, currently has no margin requirements, and that the Bitcoins are uncollateralized. The company has accumulated nearly 3,000 Bitcoins in August, and ASST's stock price rose over 5% on Monday, with a total increase of nearly 100% for the month.
