(Hong Kong, August 27, 2026) HashKey Group Limited ("HashKey" or "the Company", together with its subsidiaries referred to as "the Group", stock code: 3887.HK) today announced its unaudited consolidated mid-year results for the six months ended June 30, 2026 ("the Reporting Period"). In the first half of 2026, the global cryptocurrency market faced adjustments, with a significant contraction in the total market value of cryptocurrencies, leading the industry into a phase of clearing out the false. In this challenging environment, HashKey achieved high-quality growth against the trend, with revenue and gross profit rising simultaneously, and profitability continuously improving, as adjusted losses significantly narrowed, demonstrating operational resilience.
In terms of financial data, the Group's overall operational performance remained resilient during the Reporting Period, achieving total revenue of HKD 343 million, a year-on-year increase of 20.6%; gross profit reached HKD 208 million, up 12.5% year-on-year; gross margin increased to 60.6% compared to the second half of 2025. At the same time, through optimizing operational efficiency, the Group's adjusted losses (non-IFRS measurement) were HKD 315 million, significantly narrowing from HKD 398 million in the same period last year by 21.0%, showing significant loss reduction effectiveness and substantial improvement in the Group's actual profitability. The three major business segments showed synchronized improvement, with the profitability of trading facilitation services significantly recovering, the commercialization of on-chain tokenization services accelerating, and the asset management business continuously optimizing its revenue structure.
As the core growth engine of the Group, the trading facilitation business demonstrated outstanding cyclical growth resilience. During the Reporting Period, revenue from trading facilitation services reached HKD 268 million, a substantial year-on-year increase of 38.6%. The total trading volume on the platform rose against the trend to HKD 282.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 31.8%. Among them, institutional client trading volume continued to grow, increasing by 58.8% year-on-year to HKD 231.5 billion, accounting for 82.0% of the total trading volume, reflecting the high trust of institutional funds in compliant platforms.
In addition to the trading segment, the Group's on-chain services and asset management business also made phased progress. The commercialization of tokenization accelerated, with the total value of on-chain RWA (TVL) reaching HKD 2.68 billion, a significant year-on-year increase of 167.8%. During this period, the first real estate RWA in Hong Kong and the first regulated silver RWA token in Hong Kong were launched, further consolidating HashKey's industry-leading position in on-chain financial innovation.
In terms of asset management, the Group's assets under management (AUM) reached HKD 5.94 billion, with revenue of HKD 38.84 million. During the Reporting Period, the Group optimized its investment strategy, launching a diversified range of stable financial products, including stablecoins and Bitcoin stable financial products, as well as the industry's first Bitcoin computing power fund, further enriching the product system for institutional and high-net-worth clients.
In terms of investment layout and global expansion, the Group also achieved breakthrough progress. In July 2026, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HashKey signed a framework agreement with Singapore's Asia Pacific Exchange (APEX) and its major shareholders to acquire 100% of APEX's equity. APEX holds both "Approved Exchange (AE)" and "Approved Clearing House (ACH)" licenses in Singapore. If the proposed acquisition is completed, it is expected to significantly enhance HashKey's trading and clearing infrastructure layout for the institutional market, further establishing its regulated position in Asia's core financial markets. Additionally, in April 2026, HashKey Capital strategically invested in Vietnam's Shengxingwang cryptocurrency exchange (CAEX), while the Group reached a strategic technology cooperation with them to jointly build a compliant digital asset trading platform for institutions in Vietnam. In May 2026, HashKey Capital Investment's fund led a USD 40 million Series B+ financing for SignalPlus, with the Group contributing USD 20 million. SignalPlus focuses on institutional-level digital asset options and derivatives technology services, and this strategic investment is a key layout for the Group's capabilities in derivatives trading technology.
To solidify its long-term development foundation, HashKey is comprehensively deepening its ecological cooperation network. In terms of traditional financial institutions, the Group is deepening cooperation with international financial institutions such as JPMorgan and DBS Bank to expand fiat currency deposit and withdrawal channels; at the ecological level, the Group is exploring the co-construction of institutional-level on-chain applications with blockchain networks and on-chain financial protocols such as Canton and Morpho. At the same time, it initiated the establishment of the "Ethereum Application Alliance" (EAG) to deeply participate in the co-construction of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey, stated: "HashKey will evolve along a very clear path: from a digital asset trading platform to a digital asset financial market; from a single market to an Asian market network; from Crypto Native assets to RWA and tokenized assets; ultimately forming a new generation of digital financial infrastructure that connects asset pools and capital pools. Looking ahead, we will continue to adhere to refined operations and business innovation, steadily enhance profitability and capital efficiency, and create long-term, sustainable value for shareholders, clients, and partners.
