US-listed Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds recorded a combined $2.6 billion in inflows for the week ending August 21, marking their largest week since October 2025. Bitcoin products accounted for $1.92 billion, while Ethereum funds added $697.18 million, reversing a previous outflow of $391.96 million. Bitcoin funds saw five consecutive days of net inflows from August 17 to August 21, including a single-day record of $606 million on August 20. Weekly trading volume in BTC funds reached $22.15 billion, approximately three times the previous week's total. Cumulative net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs peaked at $62.77 billion in October 2025 but have since decreased to $53.71 billion. Ethereum funds experienced a similar trend, with their largest daily intake since October occurring on August 20 at $220.77 million, although total assets remain 53% below the August 2025 high. Year-to-date, BTC funds have lost $2.91 billion and ETH products $177.93 million, indicating both are on track for their first losing year since launch. Combined assets across both products increased by about $23 billion last week, with Bitcoin trading near 77125 and Ethereum at 2423. Other US altcoin ETFs also saw net inflows, with XRP leading at $39.78 million and a record weekly trading volume of $271.74 million.
