WaveBridge Participates in Campaign to Eradicate Illegal Gambling Among Youth

WaveBridge's CEO, Oh Jong-wook, participated in the 'Relay Campaign to Eradicate Illegal Cyber Gambling Among Youth' organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. This campaign aims to raise awareness about the risks of illegal cyber gambling among youth in online and mobile environments and to broaden the social consensus on crime prevention. The campaign is conducted in a relay format, with participation from the financial sector as well as the fintech and digital asset industries. CEO Oh Jong-wook joined the campaign at the invitation of Kim Jong-hyun, the chairman of the Korea Fintech Industry Association. He emphasized that illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is a serious issue that threatens the financial order of future generations and society, calling for the entire community's attention and preventive efforts. Additionally, WaveBridge stated its commitment to creating a healthy digital asset ecosystem based on trust and safety. The industry is observing a trend where digital asset and fintech companies are strengthening their social responsibility activities, such as protecting youth and preventing financial crimes. WaveBridge is spreading the campaign message through its social media channels and has nominated Kang Yoo-bin, CEO of Nonclassic, as the next participant in the relay.
