According to Jin Shi reports, U.S. Vice President Vance stated: (The strike on) the Harcourt does not mean a strategic shift. He reiterated that the deadline for Iran is 8 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday. We will receive Iran's response before 8 PM Eastern Time. The U.S. is confident that Iran will respond. Iran has never been the fastest in negotiations, and it is still not.
