Donald Trump will hold a meeting with leaders of the cryptocurrency industry at the White House on August 19. Representatives from Coinbase, Ripple, and Gemini, as well as members of the SEC and CFTC, will participate in the event. The meeting will take place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and will precede a session of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Advisory Committee on Innovation, dedicated to cryptocurrency market regulations. Meanwhile, there is an ongoing battle to pass the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act), which is set for a Senate vote on September 15. The legislation includes a ban on the issuance of personal tokens by Trump and his spouse. The Democratic Party is calling for regulations to be enforceable by state authorities.
