Serenity has released a report stating that Riot Platforms (RIOT) has signed an $9.1 billion agreement with Anthropic, with a contract duration of 20 years. If all extension options are exercised, the total value could reach $16.1 billion. At the same time, AMD has exercised its option to expand its cooperation agreement with Riot, and Riot has also signed a letter of intent with potential tenants for a 1GW campus. Serenity points out that the revenue inflection point for most data center hosting concept stocks may be concentrated in the second half of 2027. The collaboration between Riot and Anthropic is expected to deliver the first batch of 96MW capacity by December 2027, while the 50MW capacity related to AMD is expected to be fully online by May 2027. Serenity believes it is an interesting phenomenon to see companies like IREN, which were primarily focused on Bitcoin mining, gradually transform into AI data centers and computing infrastructure providers.
