Russia Attacks 'Biocon' Warehouse in Boryspil District
On September 3, a logistics complex of 'Biocon', one of Ukraine's largest pharmaceutical warehouses, was damaged in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region due to a Russian attack. The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, confirmed the strike on the warehouse facilities. According to sources, losses may reach up to one billion hryvnias. 'Biocon' specializes in pharmaceutical logistics and provides storage services for pharmaceutical products. Since August 2026, Russia has been deliberately targeting warehouses and food logistics in Ukraine. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Taras Vysotsky, reported that about 90% of food storage capacities have been destroyed due to the attacks, but there is no threat of famine. In recent days, other enterprises have also been affected: the confectionery corporation Roshen, the store chains 'Avrora', 'Fora', and 'Kolo', as well as a warehouse of the Varus chain, which may lead to temporary supply disruptions.
