Nvidia has signed lease agreements for a data center in Texas worth up to $50 billion. The company is leasing a facility with a capacity of 1 gigawatt, being developed by Hut 8. The initial lease for 15 years will amount to $19.6 billion, with an option to extend it to 30 years. The Beacon Point data center will house hundreds of thousands of Nvidia's graphics processors. Nvidia's high investment rating has allowed Hut 8 to reduce its borrowing costs by issuing bonds worth $4.3 billion at an interest rate of 6.129%. Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang emphasizes the use of the corporation's financial power to maintain its leadership in the AI market.
