American spot Bitcoin ETFs are experiencing net outflows, with an estimated total of $390 million, marking the largest weekly hemorrhage in six weeks. Fidelity's FBTC sees $153 million in outflows, accounting for nearly 40% of the total, while BlackRock's IBIT loses $63 million. This negative trend reflects a gloomy atmosphere in the Bitcoin market, with prices remaining below $65,000 since June. In contrast, a significant increase in net inflows of $853.5 million was observed between August 3 and 7, linked to a crisis affecting Bitcoin holders on ColdCard wallets. This situation raises questions about the relevance of self-custody and challenges the outlook for a return of positive flows.
