In Kyiv, a tender is planned to be announced for the development of documentation for the comprehensive restoration of the Paton Bridge over the Dnieper River. At this stage, the focus is on designing, inspecting the structures, and determining solutions for their restoration. During the project preparation, a comprehensive engineering study must be conducted to assess the technical condition of the bridge. After this, it will be determined which structures need to be restored for further safe operation. The Paton Bridge has the status of an architectural monument, so the requirements for the protection of cultural heritage will be taken into account during the design phase. The procurement of services for the development of documentation is planned to be carried out through Prozorro. In March 2026, it was confirmed that the bridge can be operated under certain restrictions, but the need for restoration was noted. Before the project implementation begins, the KP 'Kyivavtodormost' must continue to monitor the technical condition of the bridge and carry out work to maintain safe traffic.
