The project README distinguishes the targets for processing as statistical watermarks, C2PA content provenance, and the 'Co-Authored-By: Claude' signature. This project is related to the ongoing debate over developer control regarding the attribution of AI-generated outputs. Text watermarks are difficult for humans to recognize, but their presence can be inferred through statistical patterns. C2PA is a standard that embeds provenance and generation history into image files, allowing for content verification.
