Grayscale has announced in its recent report that five blockchain projects—Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), Binance Smart Chain (BNB), and Canton Network (CC)—have the highest potential for attracting investment in the tokenized stock market. This development is driven by three main models. The first model is wrapped tokens, which hold 70% of the market value and have attracted investor interest due to their 24/7 trading capability and compatibility with DeFi. The second model involves the transfer of traditional securities to the blockchain, with Canton Network collaborating with DTCC on a pilot project in this area. The third model is the direct issuance of shares on the blockchain, initiated by the company Securities with its tokenized shares (SECZ). Grayscale considers this model to be the future of the market but has pointed out challenges related to legal issues and low liquidity. The expansion of tokenized shares could draw investor attention to blockchains of real assets and improve market conditions, but the continuation of this trend depends on regulatory clarity and increased liquidity.
