Gnosis Chain Transforms into Ethereum L2 through GIP-153 Proposal

Prefer us on GoogleThe GIP-153 proposal of Gnosis Chain has officially passed, transitioning from a sovereign independent L1 to an Ethereum L2. On the eve of the voting deadline, several official affiliated addresses, including Gnosis co-founder Stefan D George, cast their votes in favor, successfully meeting the quorum requirement. This proposal was initiated by Gnosis founders and core members, aiming to free Gnosis Chain from the security shortcomings and inflationary subsidy issues of traditional PoS L1, inheriting the security of Ethereum validators and becoming a synchronized and composable Ethereum L2.
