G42 Considers Selling Majority Stake to US Firms to Secure Chip Supply
Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence company G42 is in exploratory talks with American firms to consider selling a majority stake in the company to ensure a continued supply of high-end AI chips beyond next year. G42 aims to secure its access to advanced AI chips by bringing in American capital and partners. If the deal goes through, it will lead to a significant restructuring of the equity of this AI company, which was founded about eight years ago.
