Singapore-based hedge fund Dymon Asia Capital has secured approximately $1 billion in phased funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) to expand into markets such as London and Hong Kong. As of July, Dymon’s assets under management have increased to about $9 billion, surpassing the expected $5 billion by the end of 2026, with its multi-strategy fund yielding approximately 7.5% this year. Dymon is focusing on expanding its commodities business, having brought in Amir Ravan from Jain Global as the head of commodities and Jay Radia from BlueCrest as the chief operating officer for commodities, while also recruiting former Schonfeld macro trader Manas Baveja in London. ADIA plans to increase its allocation to global hedge funds to approximately $15 billion.
