DWF Labs founder Andrei Grachev stated that rumors of price manipulation in DEXE are unfounded, asserting that all trades were conducted on centralized exchanges and can be verified through the firm’s UID. Grachev revealed that DWF Labs purchased a significant amount of DEXE in 2024 and sold part of its holdings in 2025 for cash. He noted that the firm acquired more DEXE around October 10, coinciding with last year’s crypto crash, and took a hedge position on first-half profits for this year. DWF Labs later closed its short position when futures market funding rates turned negative and sold its spot DEXE holdings to finalize the cash-out. Influencer Choc recently accused DWF Labs of manipulating DEXE prices, claiming the firm profited approximately 40000000 dollars from such actions and that retail investors' funds were funneled into the firm. Choc also alleged DWF Labs' involvement in manipulating prices of other coins, including ESPORTS and SIREN, with no accountability.
