Dollar Bonds Bounce Back on Wall Street, Argentine Stocks Decline
Dollar bonds rebounded this Tuesday on Wall Street, while the country risk registered a slight decrease, standing above 500 basis points. The shares and ADRs of Argentine companies trading abroad are mostly down. Public securities advanced by up to 0.3% on the New York Stock Exchange, following weeks of weakness for Argentine debt due to market doubts about the electoral outlook for 2027 and the official intervention strategy regarding the dollar. Country risk fell by 3 basis points, reaching 506 units. In August, the indicator measured by J.P. Morgan has accumulated a rise of 17.7%.
