Crypto Card Spending Reaches $1.04 Billion, USDC/USDT Accounts for 70%

In July 2026, the scale of crypto card spending reached $1.04 billion, a threefold increase year-on-year, with the average payment amount rising from $59 to $86. Approximately 70% of over ten million transactions were paid using stablecoins, with USDC accounting for 50.8% and USDT for 20.3%. RedotPay, EtherFi, and KAST collectively contributed about 77% of the transaction volume. Visa reported that there are over 160 stablecoin-linked card projects globally. In emerging markets like Latin America, stablecoin spending is primarily concentrated in everyday scenarios such as fresh groceries, dining, travel, and subscriptions through products like Oobit and Binance.
