CoinGecko Moves Security Ratings to CORE3, Nearly Half of Exchanges Lack Security Proof
CoinGecko has announced the migration of its centralized exchange Trust Score's cybersecurity ratings from CER.live to the Hacken risk infrastructure platform CORE3, covering 166 exchanges. CORE3 data shows that among the 193 exchanges evaluated, approximately 48% did not provide evidence of reserve proof, penetration testing, or bug bounty programs, with only about 5.2% meeting all three criteria. Users can view the updated cybersecurity ratings on CoinGecko and obtain a multidimensional risk breakdown and loss probability indicators regarding security, solvency, and transparency on CORE3.
