Co-founder of 'Nova Poshta', Vladimir Poperyshnyuk, has called for tax holidays for entrepreneurs whose property was destroyed as a result of Russian attacks. He proposed deregulation, simplification of international logistics and permitting procedures, as well as the creation of free economic zones in frontline territories. Poperyshnyuk noted that strikes on enterprises and logistics infrastructure exacerbate the economic situation, and the speed of business recovery becomes a key factor in the country's resilience. He suggested repeating the measures from 2022, when taxes were reduced, duties and licenses were canceled, inspections were halted, and regulatory barriers were lowered. Among the necessary steps, he highlighted tax holidays for affected entrepreneurs, simplification of international logistics, acceleration of construction permit acquisition, simplification of connections to engineering networks, creation of free economic zones, and an overall reduction of regulatory burdens. Poperyshnyuk emphasized that additional taxes and inspections complicate the adaptation of enterprises that are restoring damaged facilities and restructuring logistics. It is worth noting that on the night of August 5, a sorting center of 'Nova Poshta' in Kyiv was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack, resulting in three deaths and eight injuries.
