Cargo Exports Through Ukrainian-Hungarian Crossings Increased by 54%

Cargo transfers through Ukrainian-Hungarian railway crossings increased by 54% compared to July, totaling 267,000 tons. The main export goods include ore, grain, and vegetable oil. The average daily transfer volume reached 165.7 wagons, which is 55.7 wagons more than in July. In August, ore exports amounted to 121,000 tons, with the average daily number of wagons carrying ore rising from 34.6 to 66. Grain cargoes totaled 74,000 tons, and the average daily volume of wagons with grain increased to 46.5 units. Additionally, 16,000 tons of oil were transported, with the average daily transfer of wagons carrying oil growing from 3.5 to 9.7 units. At the Batevo-Epereshke crossing, an increase of 83.2% was recorded, with the average daily volume rising by 49.5 wagons. In August, 185,000 tons of cargo were transferred through this crossing, including 104 wagons of grain. At the Chop-Zahony crossing, the average daily volume increased by 6.2 wagons, with a total of 82,000 tons, of which 67,000 tons were grain. Meanwhile, the cargo flow through crossings with Poland fell to 9.7 million tons, decreasing by 7% in the first seven months of 2026.
