The key to the non-farm data lies in whether the number of new jobs, unemployment rate, average hourly wage, and previous value revisions indicate an "orderly cooling" or "significant slowdown" in the labor market. If non-farm employment and wage data are stronger than expected, the market will lower its short-term rate cut bets, leading to a potential strengthening of U.S. Treasury yields and the dollar, while gold and high-valuation tech stocks may face pressure; conversely, if employment, wages, and previous value revisions weaken across the board, the market will raise expectations for Federal Reserve easing, potentially supporting gold and non-U.S. currencies. Huang advises CFD traders to avoid chasing orders in the first minute after data release, focusing instead on the synchronous confirmation of U.S. two-year Treasury yields, the dollar index, and gold, and waiting for pullback opportunities after key price level breakthroughs. The current trading focus is on how non-farm data will alter market pricing of the Federal Reserve's policy path.
