Analysis: Bitcoin futures trading volume fell 20% in June, the market may be at risk of falling
Odaily News In the first five months of 2025, Bitcoin futures trading volume averaged $1.93 trillion per month, but in June, the total Bitcoin futures trading volume on centralized exchanges was only about $1.55 trillion, which means that Junes trading volume was about 20% lower than the monthly average trading volume since the beginning of the year.
A similar situation occurred last year, with total Bitcoin futures trading volume falling 15.7% month-on-month in June 2024. Although trading volume rebounded the following month, the average monthly trading volume of Bitcoin futures from June to September 2024 was still low, at only $1.53 trillion. If this months data is any guide, the crypto market may be about to usher in another quiet summer. (The Block)
