Bank of America Securities has identified capital expenditures exceeding $1 trillion related to AI and the associated bond burden as key risk factors. While monitoring both large-cap AI stocks and neglected assets, they have expressed a cautious outlook on AI-related bonds. The Bull-Bear Indicator from Bank of America Securities has decreased from 9.7 to 9.3, yet remains in an extreme bullish zone, maintaining a 'sell' signal. Fund flows are structurally shifting towards gold and commodities, while technology stocks recorded their largest weekly outflow in seven weeks. The equity allocation for individual clients reached a record high of 66.4%, while cash holdings have dropped to their lowest levels. Strategist Hartnett analyzed that the consumer sector may experience spillover effects from emerging markets or cyclical assets during past bubble phases. Concerns regarding AI bonds stem from large-scale capital expenditures, and if coupled with negative cash flows, bond issuance pressure could increase. Bank of America Securities maintains an asset allocation perspective of 'bond avoidance, dollar avoidance, full deployment of AI,' highlighting that the size of U.S. Treasury bonds is approaching $40 trillion as a major variable.
