57.5% of Poles Fear Investing in Cryptocurrencies

57.5% of Poles express concerns about investing in cryptocurrencies, according to a study by SW Research for Zero.pl. Only 16.3% of respondents have no worries, and 20.8% do not plan to invest in digital assets. Among women, 59.8% are hesitant to invest in cryptocurrencies, while 23% do not plan to make any purchases. Among men, 55.1% have concerns, and 20% do not. Individuals with the lowest incomes do not plan to invest, with 32% from this group having investment plans. In the group earning between 3001 and 5000 PLN, 56.7% have concerns. Among those earning over 7000 PLN, 31.9% are not worried about investing. Residents of metropolitan areas are more cryptocurrency-friendly, with 50.6% expressing concerns. The scandal surrounding the collapse of the Zondacrypto exchange, where client losses are estimated at over 350 million PLN, negatively impacts trust in the market. The Sejm plans to reconsider the presidential veto regarding cryptocurrency market regulations.
