How to become a merchant

To ensure a high-quality trading experience for users, WEEX accepts merchant applications only from professional traders with certain trading experience and liquidity.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, all applications will undergo a strict review process.

Application requirements:

Complete phone or email verification.
Complete identity verification.
Keep enough USDT as a security deposit in your funding account. The required amount of USDT will depend on the fiat currency market you apply for. (Note: The deposit does not accrue interest while frozen and will be automatically released after merchant cancellation, provided no violations have occurred.)
If you're already a merchant on another platform, submitting proof (such as a merchant ID screenshot, transaction volume, completion rate, or reviews) can boost your approval chances and possibly reduce or waive the security deposit requirement.

Important notes:

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, and the review process will take approximately seven working days.
Review criteria include compliance, trading activity, and adherence to platform policies.
In the event of false trading, violation of platform rules or fraud, your merchant status will be immediately revoked.
